California Science Center

California Science Center located in Exposition Park in the city of Los Angeles is a state agency and museum. It's the largest science center on the West Coast and it's formed as a partnership between the state and the Science Center foundation.

The California Science Center offers hands-on experience in their galleries and one can acquire knowledge about human inventions and discoveries and it can be both amusing and informative at the same time. It also has exhibits that change over from time to time so every visit to the Science Center means something new and special.

At present, the California Science Center has the following: IMAX theatre, Air and Space exhibits, the Sketch Foundation Gallery, Science court, Creative World and special exhibits.

On entering the Creative World, one can experience the benefits and consequences of discoveries and inventions. It has a section for digital imaging and a section that houses solar cars. Its main objective is to let the visitors on Los Angeles CA travel explore their knowledge on the areas of transportation, communication, structures and other advancements in the filed of engineering. The Air and Space exhibit on the other hand helps us to understand the principles of flying and what exactly goes behind the design of an aircraft and also about space probes.

For those who are fascinated by science, the Science Court is a must visit as it features basic science demonstrations and also has a five-story moving sculpture known by the name Hypar.

The Science is not only for kids and it is considered fun and educative for the whole family as well. It has different educational programs for kids and for families and groups too.

The IMAX theatre in the Science Centre, the largest screen in Los Angeles has over 100 hands-on exhibits and brings to life everything from a thing as minute as an atom to a thing as vast as the universe.
