Getty Villa

You must have heard of Getty Villa from friends as no tour is entirely worthwhile if a person is not able to take a peek at a place's main landmarks. No matter how it seems uninteresting, I make it a point to travel in Los Angeles to visit the prime attraction of a place, even if it is a museum or national park, or eat at a restaurant that offers local delicacies.

Who says they are too boring to experience? The Getty Villa, for example, is a museum and an educational center at the same time. When there is too much to learn and see, it is absolutely interesting. Especially when it showcases ancient Greece, as well as its culture and arts, a museum of this size will attract even your kids.

Located in Pacific Palisades community in Los Angeles, the Getty Villa houses an incredible number of antiques and historical articles as collected by J. Paul Getty. With so much money to spare, he constructed this museum near his house. For more than 3 decades now, it continues to amuse tourists of all ages all over the world.

You will be charmed by the superb architecture applied to the museum, mirroring the ancient times in Greece. While the outdoor theater and auditorium inside the Getty Villa may seem too educational (dull, in other words) for the youth today, you will just have to give them a little push to see what you all have to see. They might not admit it, but they will find everything simply entertaining and extraordinary.

After all, it is not like I will be back in Getty Villa for a while. I probably might not come back at all. The good thing is, I have maximized my experience by visiting cultural landmarks, which is so much for the memories of my trip on Los Angeles California travel.
