The history of the Holocaust is one of the darkest chapters of the 20th century history. If you are on a trip to Los Angeles, you must include a visit to the Museum of Tolerance in your schedule. The Holocaust Section of the museum is dedicated to the events that have been shocking the world even after so many years of the World War II.
One highlight of the section is the photo passport cards given to each visitor and containing information about child victims of the Holocaust. At the end of the visit, the visitors are revealed the fate of each of these victims. The Hall of Testimony is another is the part where the visitors can listen to the stories of the Holocaust survivors.
Hear a Holocaust allows the volunteer survivors of the Holocaust to share their painful experiences with the museum visitors. Witness to truth is a permanent exhibit of the museum where one can see the photographs of each of the survivors of the Holocaust.
The museum also exhibits the artifacts of the Holocaust that consists of important documents, letters and other significant things. A seventy minute presentation on events that took place between 1920s and 1945 let the visitors have another peep into the dark world of Nazis.
Besides, there are many other sections of the museum that you must visit. You must remember that the Holocaust Exhibits are not available for children below 12 years of age. The museum is closed on Sundays and it opens 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday and from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
