The museum is open at 9:30am until 5pm from Monday to Sunday except for holidays like New Year's Day, Independence Day and Christmas Day where the museum will be close. Adult's admission fee is $9 and students and senior citizens are $6.50, while children less than 4 years of age can enjoy going to the museum for free.

It is a temporary and seasonal butterfly exhibit at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. The exhibition is held only in summer from April to September. You can see several species of colorful butterflies flying free in the beautiful Pavilion of the museum.
