The Pantages Theater is found at the Hollywood Boulevard that opened its doors on the 4th of June 1930. Its former name was RKO Pantages Theatre. It became home to some of the great Broadway shows such as the Andrew Lloyd Webber - Music of the Night back in 1997, Cats in 1997 and 2003 then 2006, The King and I in 1998 and 2005, Evita in 1999 and 2005, The Wizard of Oz in 1999, Fame in 1999, Sound of Music in 2000, Miss Saigon back in 2004 and Wicket in 2005. Many stars have performed in this theater for decades and it continues to be one of the most favorite Broadway Theaters in California.

Through the years it had experienced several transformations and restorations and it even closed down in 1967 and reopened again in 1977.
