Watch a Movie at Vista Theater - One of the Last Remaining Single Screen Theaters in LA
The Vista is one of the finest movie theatres in Los Angles with lavish fantasy cosmic Egyptian style interior decors and visually appealing environment. This theatre has a history dating back to mid 20's and was built by Bard's, a local showman known for building three more theatres in this city.
The Vista Theatre is located at the corner of Sunset and Hollywood building in Los Feliz and is the last single screen theatre left for local folk to enjoy. Opened in the year 1923, this theatre was originally home to vaudeville stage acts. However things have changed now as Vista now plays first run movies.
The exteriors of Vista theatre are Spanish in style but the ticket booth and interiors are Egyptian inspired with Egyptian maidens and serpent carvings. Although you can find few other theatres located in the city of Los Felzi, Vista Theatre remains to be a true gem. This theatre is not only known for its history and terrific architecture but also for its reasonable prices and spacious legroom.
Initially this theatre had a seating capacity of 838. However this changed with the recent re-modelling in year 2002 when additional rows of seats were removed thus making it all the more spacious. This theatre was also given a face lift by updating it with latest sound system and electronic gizmos thus making it much more elegant than before. Although there is no parking lot in this theatre, you would still find lot of place for parking along the Sunset and Hollywood.
If you are looking to enjoy the most talked of block buster movie in the town, Vista Theatre is best choice. So what are you waiting for? Check out the next movie at Vista Theatre sitting comfortably and enjoying popcorn.
