The Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County is popularly known as the Music Center. It is located in the downtown area of the city and organizes a number of events and performances all over the year. People from different parts of the world visit the center to watch the shows by Los Angeles Philharmonic, Center Theatre Group, L.A. Opera and Los Angeles Master Chorale.
One of the interesting facts about the Music Center is that it ranks among the three largest performing art centers in the United States. The Dance Door is an interesting part of the center which was donated to it in the year 1982. It is a bronze structure with cast figures of dancers on the door panels as one of its main highlight.
Nearly 2 million people are welcomed by the four venues of the center every year.
