Is Korea Town in Los Angeles a Good Place to Live?
Korea town has been known to be only good for Koreans. It also has been known as a place for great food, affordable rent, and pretty near to most businesses. You can find a studio apartment for around $1000 monthly, and most accept small pets.
It is a fairly safe neighborhood, but like anywhere else it is a must to take the necessary precautions when you are alone or it's late and dark. There are many restaurants and businesses located in Korea town. Many of them have accommodations above the business. It is centrally located - where downtown is just minutes away. Culturally speaking, it is one place which is full of the heritage of its people.
Many have recommended the Gaylord Apartments in Korea town. Very Hollywood style and located near Wilshire Boulevard; there is a 24-hour doorman - for additional security, and you can rent a studio for less than you can even think.
It is highly suggested to walk the area before you sign an agreement to ensure you will be comfortable at all times during the day. Speak to the people and Ask around too for self satisfaction!!
