The Port of Los Angeles is the cruise center hub of the West Coast of the United States of America and transports over a million passengers annually. It has 3 ship berths and the new World Cruise Center is one of the world's most secure cruise passenger complexes. The fame is not without a cause. The center has a 2560 stalls parking lot, which is patrolled by heavy security throughout day and night. On the days of ship arrivals and departures the center operated courtesy shuttles transport passengers and their luggage between the parking lots and terminals.
World Cruise center is situated at San Pedro which happens to be California's most picturesque and historic fishing villages. Besides offering a wonderful seaside setting, the Center offers year round cruising itineraries. Due to its location, San Pedro World Cruise Center at Port of Los Angeles happens to be a favorite of the passengers on travel in Los Angeles. It is favored both as the home port and ideally situated place for a trip to Pacific destinations.
The World Cruise Center is situated at an approximate distance of 18 miles from Los Angeles International Airport or LAX as it is commonly known. It is more conveniently located from the Long Beach as it is only at a distance of 10 miles while a bit far from Downtown Los Angeles approaching distance of 25 miles. Although far it is easily accessible through freeways from all the directions.
