Los Angeles is always buzzing with one festival or other and it is not unusual to find jam-packed street parties when you travel in Los Angeles. Mariachi music, Taiko drums, Celebrity filled film festivals, big adorable animals packaged alongside with great sales at stores and wonderful architecture keeps the LA festival scene buzzing.

It is impossible to detail all the festivals here but some of the major ones have been covered. Tournament of Roses held in the San Gabriel Valley is a 120-year-old festival and it takes a real enthusiast to know what craftsmanship goes into making the floral floats. Strongly recommend you to buy bleacher tickets for the show.

Care to take a peek at Chinese culture. What better way than to go see the Golden Dragon Parade, which features 100 feet dragon, martial art demonstrations and tons of firecrackers. It is held in China town during the Chinese New Year.

If you care to take, a peek at latest trends is it travel, lifestyle, exercises, fashion accessories you should not forget to visit the McDonald's Quality of Life Expo. Now if you are thinking it is an exhibition then think again. It's the precursor to the annual marathon for the Los Angeles city.

If you are a movies person, then June is probably the month for you to visit Los Angeles as it hosts its Los Angeles Film Festival during that time. The crowds are so big that this 10-day festival is held at UCLA campus theatres and Westwood village. If you are lucky, you may also get a glimpse of you favorite Hollywood stars, directors and producers.

If you are more of history person, the Cinco de Mayo Celebrations is the place for you. It celebrates the victory of Mexican forces over the French at Puebla in 1862. It comprises traditional folk dance, children activities, cultural presentations and pi?ata breaking. You could try photography in April, as it is month long celebration of amazing photos in this great city.
