It is a temporary and seasonal butterfly exhibit at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. The exhibition is held only in summer from April to September. You can see several species of colorful butterflies flying free in the beautiful Pavilion of the museum.
There different species include: Giant Swallowtails, American Painted Ladies, California Dogface and many such others. Visitors will get to know about the life cycle, interactions, defense mechanisms etc of these butterflies. It is a great experience, so you must include this place in your travel plans.
2) What are the admission fares?
Admission to the Pavilion of Wings is separate from regular museum admission. In order to see the butterfly exhibit, you will have to pay $3 per adult, $1 for children and $2 for students and seniors.
