History

The Long Beach is the most fascinating city that is situated in the state of California which is considered as the sixth largest metropolitan area. It has other important cities near to it like LA which is situated 20 kilometers south of down town having orange city on its border, California. First settlements of the troops are the Spanish who came from Spain after Columbus discovered the America. Explorers like San Salvador, Victoria and san Miguel while travelling on their ships they landed in this place now famously known as Long Beach slowly they occupied this place with their settlement.

After the collapse of Spanish empire the Mexico declared its independence and they claimed California. The people in the California has not recognized their declaration and also they dint obey the governor orders who has been sent by Mexico.

Many people in the California are descendents of Spanish soldiers and they gain more power in this place.

Stearns are considered as the largest land owners in the southern parts of the California. They have done many jobs like successive merchants with lucrative business, cattle ranchers, surveyor, and politician.

They are richest and well respected persons in the town. Unfortunately worst drought in the southern California and also severe flooding during the winter seasons brought some misfortune to the stearns.cattle in that place starved and died. The epidemic small pox spreads over here and killed many people.
