After four years of complete work the ship finally get structured and began his first maiden voyage in the year 1936. For three years she crossed many countries and finally she set a record while crossing the North Atlantic Ocean.

After many successful wars the ship was sold to Long Beach for the price of $3.45 million which is in the state of California. Here she is converted in to museum and luxury hotel after the final voyage to the Long Beach in the year 1967.
