The Norton Simon Museum is known for a great history and it features various collections from different parts of the world. These collections feature works from different centuries including the 14th - 15th centuries. In addition to these old works, it also features different art work done by contemporary artists. The museum holds different events for parents and their children that include special exhibitions as well as engaging tours. It has also dedicated the third Saturday of each month as the Family day when children will be treated to great kids' tours and art making work shops. Parents can also allow their children to participate in tour of the Museum as organized by the schools. The children will be treated to staff guided tours that will feature different aspects of the museum. Teachers can have the tours custom made to fit with the classroom curriculum but need to make the reservations in advance.
