Art-deco style movie theaters in Los Angeles

Warner Grand Theater (called "The Castle of your dreams) opened in Jan. 20, 1931 and designed by B. Marcus Priteca. It currently shows American classic films, foreign films, family films and other live performances.

Roxie Theater was designed by John Montgomery Cooper and opened in November 25, 1931. It has a seating capacity of 1,600 people. It was the last Broadway theater to open.

The Egyptian Theater was opened in 1922 and designed by architects Meyer and Holler. It is a historic-cultural monument, a state of the art showcase theater and is the home of American Cinematheque (shows classic films, documentaries, independent film and world cinema).
