
East Los Angeles Neighborhoods
Numerous neighborhoods of Eastern Los Angeles shelter large Latino populations and other several neighborhoods have more mixed populations especially in northeastern Los Angeles.
These neighborhoods include Boyle Heights that houses over 95% of its population are Mexican American, Elysian Valley, which is a part of Elysian Park-Silverlake area that was developed as a working class community of small bungalow and cottage homes, and University Hills, where California State University can be found.

Other neighboring communities are El Sereno, Atwater Village, Arroyo Seco, Cypress Park, Eagle Rock, Garvanza, Hermon, Glassell Park, Lincoln Heights, Highland Park, Montecito Heights, Mt. Washington and Monterey Hills.
