The movie remake Halloween was filmed in various locations in Los Angeles. The Myers house where they shot scenes of Michael's childhood is at 1110 Glendon Way, South Pasadena. While the scenes in the woods where the young Michael takes his bloody revenge on the school bully are in Griffith Park.

Some other locations in Los Angeles that where filmed in the movie Halloween are the Los Angeles Police Historical Society Museum and Los Angeles City College at 855 North Vermont Avenue, south of Santa Monica Boulevard.
