Landmark buildings in Los Angeles

The Theme Building is a mid-century modern structure in LA International Airport. It looks like a landing spaceship and the building in the cartoons - The Jetsons. It had an Observation deck but was closed due to the Sept. 11 attacks.

Coca - Cola Building is a bottling plant which resembles an ocean liner. It was designed by Robert V. Derrah complete with portholes, promenade deck, bridge and all the trimmings found in a ship.

San Fernando Building is a Renaissance revival style building. For its facade, it has an elaborate cornice work and spandrel panels. It was notorious for gambling and lotto activities in the past. It is now a 70-loft style apartment.
