Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History in downtown LA was where Peter Parker got bitten by genetically modified spider inside the university in the movie Spiderman. It is also seen in Spawn and Bonfire of the Vanities masquerading as New York.

Another museum seen in movies is the Hollywood Museum where the scene of Karla Fry robbing a jewelry store was filmed for Beverly Hills Cop II which was once the Max Factor Museum and was also seen in the movie directed by Jack Nicholson, The Two Jacks.
