The S.O.P.H.I.E., Inc. is one of the memorial park exclusively for our beloved pets. The S.O.P.H.I.E. means Save Our Pets History In Eternity. The park was founded in September 4, 1928 and originally called the Los Angeles Pet Cemetery.

The Rollins and Dr. Eugene Jones family owned and also managed the park for forty years. And in 1973 the family donated the cemetery to Los Angeles SPCA which they were able to manage the park for just a decade and decided to sell the property to developers. That's when the S.O.P.H.I.E., Inc. was established.
