The Page Museum La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. It is a famous fossil site and has various collections of extinct Ice Age plants and animals.

The bones of mammoths, sabertoothed cats, sloths (the stars of the movie Ice Age), wolves and scavenger birds were trapped and buried in asphalt. These fossils were excavated at Rancho La Brea and gave us information about Los Angeles 25,000 years ago.

The museum opens daily from 9:30 am to 5 pm and admission is free every first Tuesday of each month.
