Long Beach is the 36th largest city in United States and the second largest city in Los Angeles metropolitan area. It is also the next most populous to the City of Los Angeles.

Long Beach is located about 20 miles south of Los Angeles. It ranked the 8th most walkable city in United States wherein walkable neighborhoods locate their housing within an easy and safe walk near libraries, schools, parks, grocery and retail stores and other local amenities.

The first ever movie studio created in Hollywood area is the Nestor Studios. It was founded in 1911. It was built in the Blondeau Tavern building in the northwest corner of Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street. And on the same year 15 more Independent movie makers settled in Hollywood.
