What is the shortest Los Angeles highway
The Marina Freeway or the SR-90 which is only 2.25 miles is considered to be the shortest freeway in Los Angeles. The Express highway runs from Lincoln Boulevard until SR-91. It is only two lines wide and with no grade crossings. Part of the Marina Freeway was built along the Pacific Electric Railway.
This is a unique freeway for most have long distances but this is an exemption with the rest. Whatever the reason for building this short freeway it has help a lot of people in Los Angeles travel and have some more option on where to pass through in getting to one place after another.
