The Beach Cities or Bay Cities include Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach. These beach communities are located along the California Coast south and west of Los Angeles.

Manhattan Beach is a very expensive beach town within commuting distance of Los Angeles. Its most recent rakings in Fortune Magazine made the city one of the most expensive coastal towns to live in America.

Redondo Beach is city located in the South Bay region in the greater Los Angeles Area. Its primary attractions include the Municipal Pier or sometimes called the "Endless Pier" and the sandy beach which is very popular to tourists and sports enthusiasts.

The third city is the Hermosa Beach which is home to many beach loving athletes and sun worshippers. The city has been referred to as the "Beach Volleyball Capital of the World".
