American Intercontinental University requires that the International institution should be licensed by the Education Department of the country so that transfer of credit will be eligible. The student should pass authentic foreign academic documents which will be evaluated by a credential agency and by a credential evaluator employed by the school. The student must also pay the required fees.

An international student (whose medium of instruction is not exclusively English) entering freshman at California State University, the high school grade point average equivalencies are determined by the office of University Admissions. A score of 550 (paper based test) or 213 (computer based test) on TOEFL is required.
