Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) is the largest regional veterinary medical association in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. It has over 1,200 member veterinarians and 700 affiliated hospitals. Founded in 1905, the members are committed to advance veterinary medicine, conserve and protect animal health and to improve the veterinarian's profession.

One of the programs of SCVMA is to provide continuing education, seminars and symposiums; and by this there would be exchange of knowledge and improvement of skills among veterinarians. They also have an official magazine - The Pulse Magazine.

That has to be the Grammy Museum. It is a 30,000 sq ft space that is dedicated to uplifting the music industry as well as celebrating the history of the Grammy Awards. It opened in December 2008; it has four floors of interactive exhibits and a 200 seat Grammy Sound Stage.

They are open every day (Sunday to Friday, 11:30am - 7:30pm and on Saturday 10:00am - 7:30pm). Admission tickets are as follows: Adults ($12.95), Students (18 and above) and Senior citizens ($11.95), Youth (6 - 17 yrs old) and Military, with valid ID ($10.95) and children (5 yrs and below) and museum members are free of charge.
