Is there a world's famous painting displayed in Los Angeles
Yes there's quite a large number of world's famous work of art available in several Los Angeles art museum. Like The Treachery of Images, 1929 of Rene Magritte. Or the Cold Shoulder of Roy Lichtentein, 1963 which can be seen at Los Angeles County Museum of Art or LACMA. There's also the famous Vincent van Gogh's Irises work at the Getty Center.

There's also the Blue Boy of Thomas Gainsborough and the Pinkie of Sir Thomas Lawrence available for viewing at The Huntington Library, Art Galleries, and Botanical Gardens. The Hammer Museum also contains some world famous works by Gauguin, Rembrandt, Monet, Wyeth and van Gogh. They also include some must see paintings like Hospital at Saint Remy of van Gogh and the Boy Resting by Cezanne.
